Sjir Uitdewilligen is a PhD candidate at department of Organisation and Strategy of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Maastricht University. He holds a master degree in Economics (International Management) and in Applied Cognitive Psychology. His research focuses on team dynamics in critical high-reliability situations, in particular on the cognitive structures and processes associated with effective team functioning. His current research projects include a field study on the functioning of Multidisciplinary crisis management teams at the Port of Rotterdam.
