Robert Roe

Robert Roe is Professor of Organisational Theory and Organisational Behaviour at the department of Organisation and Strategy of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Maastricht University. He has been Professor of Work & Organisational Psychology at the Dutch universities of Delft, Tilburg and Nijmegen, Director of the Work and Organization Research Center in Tilburg and of the Netherlands Aeromedical Institute, and organizational consultant. In addition, he has also fulfilled several advisory roles in professional and public bodies. He is founding president of the European Association of Work & Organisational Psychology (1991). He had authored over 300 publications, including books, book chapters and journal articles, on human resources management, organizational behavior, organizational change, and research methodology. Specific topics include competence, motivation, performance, leadership, assessment, appraisal, and selection. The emphasis in his current work is on dynamics facets of behavioral and organizational phenomena.
