Marielle den Hengst

Dr.ir. Mariëlle den Hengst is affiliated with TNO Quality of Life as researcher and consultant in the Department Work and Employment. At the same time she is Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Delft. At the same university she did her Ph.D. in 1999. In 2002 she was invited lecturer at the University of Arizona, Department of Management Information Systems.
Her focus is on ICT and productivity in relation to process design, corporate culture, competences of the workers and leadership in organizations. The last two years she applied this knowledge to the organization of police work. She has published about her research work in many journals (such as: Journal of Management Information Systems, Enterprise Information Management) and contributed to books (f.i. Informing Science).
Mariëlle has managed several complex research projects and is certificated for programme mananagement (PRINNCE2). She has broad experience with facilitation of group processes and is able to move people to solutions in such processes. Mariëlle is passionated for her research work and knows how to report her analysis of a complex and problematic situation back to the problem owners.
